American Heart Association

The American Heart Association is the largest voluntary health organization working to prevent, treat and defeat heart disease, stroke and other cardiovascular diseases.

Arts Center of Hilton Head Island

Located in the heart of Hilton Head Island, the award winning regional Arts Center of Coastal Carolina is a remarkable showcase for professional performing and visual arts, as well as cultural festivals and educational outreach.

Beaufort County Historical Society

The oldest organization in Beaufort County dedicated to the study and preservation of history,  a member based organization, the society was established in 1939.  

The Bob Pancoast Sailing Scholarship Fund

This fund awards sailing scholarships to deserving youth in the Hilton Head Island area. Instruction and summer camps take place at The South Carolina Yacht Club.

Boys and Girls Club of the Lowcountry

The mission of the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Lowcountry, and in every corner of the United States, is "to enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens."

Camp Adam Fisher

Camp Adam Fisher is the carolinas largest camp for children with diabetes, 

their brothers, sisters and friends. We are located on Lake Marion in Summerton, SC.  

Coastal Discovery Museum

The Coastal Discovery Museum is one of the most memorable destinations on Hilton Head Island. Explore natural history and cultural heritage on the 68 acre Honey Horn property. 

Community Foundation of the Lowcountry

At the Community Foundation of the Lowcountry, their mission is strengthening community by connecting people, resources, and needs. They strive to fulfill this mission every day.

The Community Vehicle

SCYC Member Chip Collins and his company Collins Group Realty provide "The Community Vehicle" to be used by non-profits, charities, schools, churches, etc. for local use and the only expense is refilling the gas tank prior to returning it. For more information, contact Jeff Prekop at 843-341-6300.

The Deep Well Project

Helping neighbors in need by providing basic assistance in emergency situations. This assistance is immediate and non-bureaucratic, intended to provide clients with a hand up, not a hand out. 

Heroes on Horseback

A therapeutic horseback riding program for children and adults in the Lowcountry with physical, mental and/or developmental disabilities.

Hilton Head Humane Association

Dedicated to providing a safe haven for the abandoned cats and dogs of the Low Country, is funded entirely by membership dues, private donations, and generous bequests.

Hilton Head Symphony Orchestra

Passionate performances of the greatest orchestral masterpieces bring our region’s music lovers together to celebrate our unique corner of the world.

Hope Haven of the Lowcountry

Hope Haven responds to the needs of child victims of abuse and adult victims of rape, sexual assault and incest in the South Carolina counties of Beaufort, Colleton, Hampton, Jasper and Allendale. 

Hospice Care of the Lowcountry

Thier mission is to give comfort and honor dignity for end of life patients and their families through compassionate physical, emotional and spiritual care, regardless of their financial circumstances. 

The League of the Hilton Head Orchestra

The mission of the League of the Hilton Head Symphony Orchestra is to support and promote the activities of the Hilton Head Symphony Orchestra and the Hilton Head Youth Orchestra. 

Lowcountry Legal Volunteers

Lowcountry Legal Volunteers provides free, critical legal services and education through community volunteers and retired lawyers to low income individuals and families in Beaufort, Hampton, and Jasper counties.

FRIENDS of MUSC Children's Hospital

Contribute to Friends of MUSC Children’s Hospital today and change lives forever. The strength of Friends is in the numbers – we started with one Friend and the network continues to grow. Your commitment to supporting the Children’s Hospital through Friends can be as little or as much as you like. From our volunteer base of friend we are very active in fundraising efforts and in communicating information to the community.

Palmetto Red Cross

The Palmetto SC Region of the American Red Cross provides vital services to the residents of South Carolina including disaster relief, health and safety classes, blood collection for hospitals and services to the armed forces.

Second Helpings

Second Helpings is a nonprofit charitable food distribution project, committed to eliminating hunger and developing collaborative strategies that encourage self-reliance among people in areas that we serve.

World Affairs Council of Hilton Head

Our Mission

To keep members abreast of developments in international affairs, including  U.S. national interests, through educational programming and participation in Council-sponsored events;

To provide a series of professional presentations and special events involving recognized authorities on issues relevant to the Council’s mission;

To reach beyond the Council’s membership to the wider community to provide information on international affairs and its effect on global policies.

VanLandingham Rotary Auction

Since its inception, this community-wide event has raised over $1,000,000 to benefit various Lowcountry children’s charities including $225,000 to the Boys and Girls Club of Hilton Head Island, $350,000 to The Children’s Center, $100,000 to Volunteers In Medicine’s (“VIM”) Pediatric Dental Clinic and $60,000 to Neighborhood Outreach Connection.

To promote and guide the development of a national network of free clinics emphasizing the use of retired medical and community volunteers within a culture of caring to improve access to health care for America’s underserved, particularly the uninsured.
